The 2013 APPY Awards Recognize Application Innovation

You may be familiar with the regional advertising awards known as the ADDYs, which recognize outstanding marketing creative in a variety of categories. You may be less familiar with a national recognition for innovative new apps, the APPY Awards. Produced by MediaPost Communications, the 2013 APPYs were handed out recently during the South By Southwest (SXSW) interactive entertainment festival in Austin, Texas.
The winners were carefully chosen by MediaPost’s Executive Jury from among hundreds of thousands of eligible apps. The jury was comprised of industry experts from companies including MRM, PopCap, MacLife and PHD.
From these APPY award winners, we have compiled our own list of the more business and marketing oriented apps. Here are our ten selections.
