B2B Mobile Marketing is Here to Stay
It’s impossible to imagine the business world without smartphones or tablet computers. So it’s no surprise that adoption of a mobile marketing strategy for B2B is becoming a priority. Understanding what your audience wants to see and do on a small screen is becoming critical. Here are a few reasons why you should not miss out on mobile opportunities:
- B2B professionals regularly use mobile to search for and access content. While the desktop website is still the most used source of information, increasing numbers of B2B tech buyers read white papers, case studies, and product brochures/data sheets on mobile devices.
- B2B customers shop for tech products on mobile. They use their devices to read reviews and general product/service information, compare product/service features, compare prices, and look for promotions.
- B2B mobile traffic will grow 13x over the next four years, with a 6x growth of mobile compared to desktop, according to Cisco’s latest report on global traffic growth.
The tablet is the new laptop
A study released in June by the Financial Times found that 49% of global business executives say tablets are replacing their laptop computers. A separate report by Constant Contact found 66% of small business owners now use mobile devices for business purposes.
